Express Yourself
Wouldn't the world be a better place, if we could each, in a small way, recapture some of the authenticity with which we are all born? What if we could relearn how to approach each other from a more childlike perspective, unafraid to give with an unabashedly joyful generosity of spirit? I think it's a fairly simple concept, just, "Express Yourself!" Try it, one human being to another, one kindness, one expression at a time. Express Yourself! Stretch out your hand to another, its warmth will embrace you. Express Yourself! Take the time to marvel in the magnificence of one, perfect, fragrant rosebud and, then, deliver it to the most unsuspecting among you. Express Yourself! A bunch of "un-birthday" balloons are laughter and smiles painted in bright shiny colors. Express Yourself! Escape to the tropics with a once-in-awhile extravagance, an exotic bouquet of orchids as a reminder that there's far more beauty in this world than we remember every day. Express Yourself! A teddy bear from a friend is a little snuggle, a hug, an embrace from afar. Express Yourself! Share some chocolates with a friend; never utter the words, calories, carbs, or fat grams! Express Yourself! Don't leave the presents each day gives us unopened; tomorrow's gifts are uniquely their own. Express Yourself! When you do, your heart speaks the language of love and communicates more than mere words can ever convey!
