Gold, Frankincense and Myrrh is a collaboration between one of the largest dealers of Painted Ponies in the state of Oklahoma, and her best-selling artist. For years, Kami Cain has been the owner/operator of Kokopelli Trails, an art gallery located in Guthrie, Oklahoma. Aloma Wolfington, a native Oklahoman well known for her detailed treatment of Native and Western themes, is a close friend and the creative force behind the figurine Rolling Thunder. Kami had been waiting for a holiday Pony to come along that featured a nativity scene, "because that’s the reason I celebrate Christmas." And one day she could wait no longer. She approached her friend with a name, the concept and a rough sketch, and Aloma took it from there, bringing the idea to life with inspiring beauty.
